Free training in Glass Painting, Mehndi Competition, Award Giving and Prize Giving was organized for the public under the joint auspices of National Child Development Council (NCDC) Kerala Region and Punalur Greater Lions Club. The program was held at Punalur Babaji Hall on Saturday 22nd July from 9 am.

Punalur Municipal Councilor Priya Pillai performed the inauguration function. Punalur Greater Lions Club President M S Premachandran presided over the function.

Global Goodwill Ambassador, Baba Alexander presented awards to Dr. Abraham Karickam (Retired College Principal), Anish K Ayilara (Writer) and A Muhammad Shafi (Malayalam News Reporter) at the function. Dr. Mini Yamuna distributed the cash prizes for Online Dance Contest Winners organized by NCDC Kerala Region.

Punalur Greater Lions Club office bearers Yakub M J, Abi Kairali, Dr. S A Salim, NCDC, PRO Al Amina A, Asha Lata and Jayashree S spoke on the occasion.

Global Goodwill Ambassador Baba Alexander led the free glass painting training for the public.
